Professional travel, landscape and nature photographer Daryl Benson (a.k.a. Chantel & KC’s Dad) will be giving a series of classes on Photography. Topics taught will be, camera basics, aperture, shutter speed, ISO settings, composition, filters, lighting, portraiture, travel, pet & child photography as well as design & image presentation. Theses classes are organised to share ideas and information that will improve your photographic skills and help you to get the images you envision for the projects you create.
There will be two class options starting either every Monday evening, June 03rd to June 24th (4 classes) from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, OR every Saturday morning, starting June 1st to June 22nd (4 classes) from 9:30 to 11:30 am.
Bring your camera and manual to all four classes. There will be shooting projects during most classes and assignments at the end of each class. Participants will be responsible for having prints made from the assignments to bring to class the following week for a group critique (no one’s being judged, it’s all for fun and learning).

Daryl Benson has been a professional photographer 30 years, born and raised in Edmonton he writes for Photo News, Photo Life, Outdoor Photographer and PC Photo Magazine. He shoots stock for both Masterfile and Getty stock agencies and has self-published three books; A Guide to Photographing the Canadian Landscape, Alberta Images and Canada. Daryl owns a coffee mug that reads “Worlds Greatest Dad.”
